On the 20th of November,2024 students of ISC (grade 11 and 12) who qualified for the T.I.M.E Aqua Regia General Quiz, were invited to Christ University, Bangalore to participate in the City Final round. Nine teams with two participants each were selected from the preliminary round conducted in the school premises.
The City Final round consisted of twenty-five questions, all with a single written answer. The topics of the quiz ranged from cinema, automobile, history,aeronautics, medicine to sports.
In the fierce competition among the teams one out of the top three teams in Bangalore were from our school, consisting of Debanksh and Nameh from 11E who qualified for the Regional Finals. In the Regional Finals teams from Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Mangalore also participated. Our boys emerged 6th in the regional finals making our school proud. However, they fell short of a place in the National Finals. Our boys answered many questions during the icebreaker round too, winning them appreciation.
Overall, it was a good experience of fun learning, competition, and teamwork for all the participants, even making them think out of the box.
