Christmas is a season of joy and cheer,
A time to spread love to those far and near.
Celebrating the birth of Jesus, our King,
With songs, dances, and the blessings they bring.
On 17th December 2024, the Kindergarten Christmas Programme was celebrated with great enthusiasm under the vibrant Hawaiian theme, “Mele Kalikimaka,” meaning “Merry Christmas.” The festive atmosphere was alive with the spirit of Christmas as the children, dressed in bright floral shirts, added colour and vibrancy to the occasion.
We were honoured to have our Principal grace the event and share warm wishes for the season, further enriching the celebration. Through a captivating Nativity Play, the children were taught the true meaning of Christmas and the story of the birth of Jesus. The Kindergarten Choir filled the air with melodious carols, while the lively dances performed by the Upper Kindergarten boys brought joy to all. The Lower Kindergarten children embodied the Christmas spirit in their radiant attire, captivating the audience with their enthusiasm.
Adding to the excitement, Santa Claus made a delightful surprise appearance, spreading laughter and wonder among the children. The grand finale saw the teachers deliver a heartfelt rendition of the theme song, “Mele Kalikimaka,” perfectly encapsulating the joy and spirit of the season. The celebration left everyone with cherished memories to treasure.
Throughout the festive season, the kindergarten children embraced the spirit of creativity and celebration through delightful Christmas crafts. The Lower Kindergarten joyfully crafted charming snowmen, while the Upper Kindergarten skilfully brought Santa Claus to life with their handiwork. These vibrant creations adorned the classrooms, radiating the warmth and wonder of Christmas. Together, the children’s efforts beautifully captured the essence of the season, filling the Kindergarten with cheer and festivity.
