The Junior School Prize Day was a truly memorable and uplifting event. It celebrated the remarkable achievements of our young Cottonians and recognized their hard work, dedication, and perseverance. The day stands as a testament to the school’s commitment to nurture excellence, and to the joy and pride shared by students, parents, and teachers alike.
We were honoured to have Mr. Vinayaka Joshi, a celebrated RJ, Director, and Actor, as our Chief Guest. His inspiring speech left a lasting impression on the students and parents, motivating all to strive for greatness in their individual journeys.
Our deepest gratitude extends to the Officers of the Diocese, Board of Management for their unwavering support. A special thanks to Reverend Christy Gnanadasan and Reverend Y. Justin for leading the gathering in prayer, creating an atmosphere of gratitude and reflection at the opening, and closing of the event.
We sincerely thank Mr. T. Jayachandran, Treasurer of BCBS, Mrs. Keren Richards and Reverand Christopher Samuel, for their gracious presence in distributing prizes to our deserving students. Their involvement added great significance to the occasion. Heartfelt congratulations to all the prize winners for their exceptional achievements—your hard work is an inspiration to all of us!
The Music and Art Departments deserve high praise for their extraordinary contributions, which brought vibrant energy to the celebration. Their displays and performances uplifted the entire event, adding colour, creativity, and joy to the day.
A special note of appreciation goes to the Vice Principal,
Mr Anil Dutt, Coordinators and Associate Coordinators—Mrs. Sumana Sucheta, Mrs. Anupama Immanuel, Mrs. Fay Kaunds, and Mrs. Maria Gabriel for their impeccable organization and planning, ensuring that every detail of the event ran smoothly. We also recognize the tremendous efforts of Mrs. Lorraine Chaan, Mrs. Prabha, Mrs. Jerome, Mrs. Sadhana, and Ms. Gabriella, whose work in staging an exceptional play captivated the audience and added a unique touch to the day’s celebrations.
Finally, our heartfelt thanks to all the Junior School teachers, whose dedication and hard work behind the scenes played an integral role in the success of this event. Prize Day is a celebration of the collaborative spirit and commitment to the excellence that defines Bishop Cotton Boys’ School.
