The Inter-House Science and IT Fest, Envision 2025, held on 18 June, brought alive the spirit of discovery and innovation at Bishop Cotton Boys’ School.
The inaugural ceremony in the Bishop George Edward Lynch Cotton Auditorium was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Mahesh Ravi Varma, Guest of Honour and Quiz Master Mr. Alistair LaPorte, Principal Mr. Alistair R A Freese, Treasurer Mr. Johnson P, Vice Principal Mr. Anil Dutt, and judges from Cathedral and St. John’s High School.
Over 425 students took part in 20 exciting events—ranging from experiments, quizzes, and poster making to mathematical challenges, JAM, Shark Tank, and a vibrant science exhibition.
A highlight of the day was Mr. Mahesh Ravi Varma’s awe-inspiring session on astrophotography using his self-built Newtonian Reflector Telescope.
The core committee—Mrs. Geetha Krishnan, Mrs. Mruthul Thomas, Mrs. Elizabeth Angiras, and Mrs. Catherine Griffith—ably supported by the Middle and Senior School faculty, organised the fest seamlessly.
Pope House claimed the Rolling Trophy as champions of Envision 2025. The fest was a true celebration of learning beyond the classroom.
