On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the students, and staff of Standard 1 began their much-anticipated day with a prayer, followed by a brief address from our Principal regarding the class picnic to Gold Coin Resort, Electronic City.
The day turned out to be truly unforgettable, filled with joy and excitement for the children. The spacious resort easily accommodated the 335 students and 25 staff members. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and treated to a sumptuous breakfast.
After breakfast, the children participated in a variety of fun-filled games and activities, which included dry games and a lively rain dance session, all thoughtfully organized by a team of volunteers from Crazy Holidays. The playpen and pottery-making activities were a hit among the children, sparking creativity and laughter.
The highlight of the day was the rain dance area, where the children gleefully danced to music while enjoying the refreshing showers. A delicious lunch was served, which the students thoroughly relished.
In the afternoon, indoor activities took centre stage. The children enjoyed a delightful singing performance and were thrilled by a ramp walk featuring a lively cartoon character. Winners of the various games were recognized and awarded certificates, adding to the joy of the day.
As the day drew to a close, snacks were distributed to each group, and the children boarded the buses to return to school, their hearts full of happy memories.
We are deeply grateful to the Almighty for keeping everyone safe throughout the day and for blessing us with such a wonderful experience.
