“Learning is experience; everything else is just information.”

The Junior II Annual Exhibition, held on 28 January 2026, was a vibrant celebration of experiential learning. Centred on the theme “States to Borders – A Cultural Showcase,” the exhibition provided students with a dynamic platform to explore India’s rich heritage alongside global diversity.
The programme commenced with a prayer and Bible reading, invoking God’s blessings. The exhibition was formally inaugurated by the Principal, Mr. Alistair R. A. Freese, through a ceremonial ribbon-cutting in the presence of the Vice Principal, Mr. Divyanathan J., departmental coordinators, teachers, students, and parents.
Spread across three floors and eighteen classrooms, the exhibition transformed learning spaces into immersive cultural hubs. Grade IV students showcased eight countries, while Grade V students presented eight Indian states, bringing their themes alive through models, banners, traditional attire, dances, skits, monuments, languages, and authentic cuisines. Visitors were transported to regions such as Sri Lanka, China, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, West Bengal, and beyond.
Highlights included the Rajasthani thali, vibrant Nepali and Burmese cultural displays, Punjabi Bhangra, Assamese Bihu, Tamil Nadu temple models, textiles of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir, Bengali delicacies, Afghan tea, China’s Chengdu panda exhibit, and a captivating Ramayana enactment from Sri Lanka.
The exhibition transformed classrooms into true windows to the world, offering students a holistic and memorable learning experience. Notably, this exhibition marked the first initiative of its kind to be introduced at the Junior II level, setting a new benchmark for experiential and cross-cultural learning at the school.
The school places on record its sincere appreciation to the Junior II Coordinators, Mrs Sumana Suchetha and Mrs Smrithi Fay Aiman, the faculty, and the parents whose wholehearted support contributed immensely to the success of the exhibition.
