Bishop Cotton Boys’ School hosted a comprehensive Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Programme today for students of Grades IX to XII, in collaboration with ISCCM and IRCF. This interactive initiative aimed to equip our students with essential life-saving skills.
The session, led by Dr. Varun Byrappa, Professor and Head of ICU, KIMS Hospital, Bengaluru, began with a detailed PowerPoint presentation on the 4Ws of CPR, followed by an engaging discussion debunking common myths and highlighting important facts about CPR.
The highlight of the programme was the hands-on training segment, where every student had the opportunity to practise CPR techniques under expert guidance. A lively Q&A session further clarified doubts and reinforced learning.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our Principal, for providing our students with this invaluable opportunity to develop skills that could one day help save lives. This training has empowered them to respond with confidence in medical emergencies.
