The Annual Art & Craft Exhibition 2025, held from 19th to 21st February, was a vibrant celebration of creativity, themed “A Spectrum of Unity.”
The event was inaugurated on 19th February at 10 AM by Rev. Dr. Vincent Vinod Kumar, the esteemed Diocesan Secretary and Board of Management member, alongside Principal Mr. Alistair R A Freese, Vice Principal Mr. Anil Dutt, Treasurer Mr. W. Johnson, Rev. Immanuel Nehemiah and Rev. Y. Justin. The ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting, lamp lighting, and an inspiring welcome speech by Mrs. Evelyn Sumana.
Mr. Alistair R A Freese and Rev. Dr. Vincent Vinod Kumar praised the students’ creativity and emphasized the significance of art in education. The exhibition showcased paintings, sculptures, pottery, and handcrafted artifacts, blending tradition with contemporary expression.
Exhibition Highlights
- Little Wonders (Lower Kindergarten) – Guided by Mrs. Hema P, young artists crafted soft-feathered birds, kites, camels, fish, and finger-painted octopuses.
- Wildlife in Art (Upper Kindergarten) – Under Mr. Suraj R, students created pattern-dotted tigers, giraffes, and paper-quilled porcupines, alongside spray-painted cars and sailboats.
- Wealth from Waste (Junior School) – Led by Mrs. Bhagyalakshmi M J, Mrs. Helen Mary and Mrs. Sujatha B, students transformed discarded materials into stunning art pieces.
- Expanding Skills (Middle School) – Mentored by Mr. Ram Prasad S.Y, students explored glass painting, T-shirt art, pencil shading, and kite designing.
- Masterpieces of Maturity (Senior & ISC) – Under Dr. Shridhara S, senior students displayed artistic finesse through canvas paintings and wood prints.
The exhibition drew an overwhelming number of visitors, including parents, students, and art enthusiasts. Distinguished guests such as Rev. Christy Gnanadasan, Rev. Rachel Sudarshan, and Mrs Vinisha Nero commended the students’ efforts.
The event was a resounding success, thanks to the dedication of our students, teachers, and volunteers. With high spirits, we look forward to an even grander exhibition next year!
