Middle School picnic to Wonder La

The recently conducted Middle School picnic to Wonder La on Friday, 7th February 2025. The excursion proved to be an enjoyable and enriching experience for 1,147 students and 54 staff members.

The day began with students assembling in their classrooms at 7:45 a.m., followed by a short assembly and prayer. The Coordinators provided essential safety instructions, ensuring that students were well-prepared for the trip. By 9:10 a.m., the students, accompanied by their class teachers, gathered on the main field for a final address by the Principal, who emphasized the importance of safety and responsible behaviour at the amusement park.

The school buses departed at 10:00 a.m., and the journey through Bangalore’s bustling roads was filled with excitement. Students enjoyed snacks, sang songs, and engaged in lively conversations with their peers. The group arrived at Wonder La by 11:30 a.m. and was ushered into the park by noon.

With temperatures reaching 32°C, the water rides, including Drop Loop, Banded Kraits, Jungle Lagoon, and the Wave Pool, were especially popular. Students also thrilled in the excitement of dry rides such as the Pirate Ship, Sky Wheel, Lazy Cars, and Y-Scream, which added to the day’s exhilaration. A delicious lunch comprising chapatti, ghee rice, paneer, and chicken was served, followed by ice cream for dessert.

After an action-packed day, students gathered at 3:30 p.m. for tea before boarding the buses for their return journey at 5:00 p.m. The buses reached school by 7:00 p.m., where enthusiastic parents awaited their wards, eager to hear about their experiences.

The picnic was a well-organized and memorable event, offering students an opportunity for recreation, bonding, and learning beyond the classroom.
