The excitement children experience when they are motivated significantly benefits their physical and mental development. This excitement builds intense curiosity, interest, and enthusiasm. When children are absorbed in and enjoy an activity, their brains are strongly motivated to engage in it.
Junior II conducts an activity class every Friday. The first week focused on pot-painting for our energetic students in classes 4 and 5. In observance of ‘World Environment Day’ this month, we gave the topics ‘Save Earth to Save Life’ to the fourth graders and ‘Be Green to Keep Clean’ to the fifth graders. It was clear that these young artists had put in a lot of thought, coming prepared for this exciting class and displaying their eagerness.
The students worked with mud pots of various shapes and sizes, painting them beautifully. The vibrant colors spread happiness across the corridors of our sesquicentennial block. The innocence and sense of achievement on these young artists’ faces were extremely heartwarming.
At Junior II, we plan to have many more such activities throughout the academic year. These activities will provide every student with the opportunity to come forward and showcase their talents, promoting their overall personality development.
