The students and staff of Standard 1- began the day with prayer and brief instructions by our Principal for the class picnic at Garden Asia Resort, Mysore Road on Friday, 9 February 2024.
Indeed, it was a memorable day. The children enjoyed themselves and had a wonderful day out. The resort was spacious enough to accommodate 400 students and 23 staff members. On reaching the place, we were welcomed with a drink and given a sumptuous breakfast.
Soon after that, the children were taken for games/activities (dry games and rain dance arena) that were organized and conducted by a team of volunteers from Crazy Holidays. The children were thrilled and enjoyed themselves in the playpen and the inflated bouncy play house.
Thereafter the children, moved to the rain dance area. They danced to the rhythm of music and enjoyed themselves.
The Children were given a delicious lunch which they relished. Later we had an indoor activity encouraging the children to sing. Cartoon characters did a ramp walk for the children. The children were given snacks and we then boarded the bus to head back to school.
We thank the Almighty for a safe class picnic.
