The Middle School Parent Orientation Programme was held on 10th June 2026 at the Bishop George Edward Lynch Cotton Auditorium. The programme saw an enthusiastic gathering of parents keen to gain a deeper understanding of the academic and co-curricular framework of the Middle School.
The programme commenced with a soulful Praise and Worship session by the Music Department, setting a positive and reflective tone for the morning. Mrs. Soma ably compered the programme, followed by a reading from the Holy Bible by Mr. Wilson Sampath Kumar and the invocation prayer by Mrs. Reena Premkumar.
Mrs. Jessica Ruth presented a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation, providing parents with valuable insights into the Middle School curriculum, academic expectations, school rules and regulations, and various student development initiatives.
A special presentation, Glimpses of Middle School 2025–26, showcased the achievements, activities, competitions, and memorable experiences of the students during the academic year, offering parents a glimpse into the vibrant life of the Middle School.
The Principal, Dr. Alistair R. A. Freese, addressed the gathering and interacted with the parents on various aspects of school life, including the examination system, discipline policies, attendance requirements, student counselling services, grooming standards, and the Uniformed Services Programme. His informative session provided clarity on the school’s expectations and its commitment to the holistic development of every student.
An engaging Question and Answer session followed, during which parents actively sought clarification on matters relating to academics, discipline, co-curricular activities, and student well-being.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Miss Mary Avis, who expressed gratitude to the Principal, staff members, and parents for their presence and support. The event came to a close with the singing of the National Anthem.
The orientation programme served as a meaningful platform for strengthening the partnership between the school and parents, reinforcing their shared commitment to nurturing responsible, disciplined, and well-rounded young learners.
