The Inter-House Annual Aquatic Meet commenced on the 19th of August 2025, showcasing the skill, agility, and determination of our young Cottonian swimmers. The competition was conducted across three categories – Juniors (Std. 1–5), Middle (Std. 6–8), and Seniors (Std. 9–12) – with participants vying closely for the gold, silver, and bronze in a series of individual and relay events.

The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Aneesh S. Gowda, an accomplished Indian swimmer who has set six state records, represented India at major international competitions including the Asian Games and the World University Games, and brought home 12 international medals. He is also the recipient of prestigious honours such as the Karnataka Olympic Award and the SSI Award.

The meet began with a welcome drill presented by the lead swimmers of each house. Following this, the Chief Guest inspired the participants with words of encouragement, commending their dedication through months of rigorous training and urging them to give their very best in the pool.

The much-anticipated inter-school relays for the senior and junior categories were held soon after, where our boys achieved remarkable victories. The finals of the Inter-House events then followed, with the atmosphere brimming with excitement as spectators cheered on their teams. Every house displayed outstanding enthusiasm, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.

The Individual Champions of the meet were:

  • Junior Category: Derrick M. Gowda (Pope House)
  • Middle Category: S. Krish (Pettigrew House)
  • Senior Category: Pruthvi Raj Menon (Pope House)

  • Pope House – 257 points
  • Pakenham Walsh House – 120 points
