Bishop Cotton Boys’ School athletes delivered an impressive performance on Day 1 of the Regional Level Athletics Competition 2026, securing two Gold and four Bronze medals across various events.
Neevan Gladwin (7F, U-14) won Gold in the 100m and 4×100m Relay, while Abhay Kadival (8C, U-14) secured Gold in the 400m. Rohan Krishna Mamadapalli (12B, U-19) won Bronze in the 400m, Colin Kavithran Nicholas (11B, U-19) won Bronze in Javelin Throw, Ahil Ali (11B, U-17) secured Bronze in the 1500m, and Akarsh Samuel Prashanth (10C, U-17) won Bronze in Long Jump.
Neevan Gladwin, Abhay Kadival, Rohan Krishna Mamadapalli and Praveen Paul have also been selected for the National Level Competition.
The school congratulates the athletes for their commendable performances and extends its gratitude to coaches Mr Devaraj D. and Mr Shivakumar K. for their guidance, support and encouragement.
