An oft' spoken topic is on our physical health. Myriad professionals in the field enlighten us on how to adapt to a life style that would minimise the risks of physical ailments. However, there are not many who come forward to deal with issues relating to our faulty cognitions that result in health problems. Further, the teenagers who are so vulnerable and full of queries, are left unattended.

The Fortis Summer Programmme under the aegis of Dr. Samir Parikh organizes workshops on mental health countrywide for the students of standards XI and XII of all streams.
In June 2024, our students of Psychology of stds XI and XII had the opportunity to attend a week long programme after school hours spanning areas of mental disorders, therapeutic skills, insights into social psychology, exploring psychological interventions and community mental health.

12 students attended the programme conducted by specialists in the field in different venues. It was probono and a certificate is awarded to the students. It was a good exposure to the exigencies in today's day and age when our youngsters have access to any kind of information and misinformation. The programme was well conducted and the students benefitted from it.
