Martyrs’ Day was solemnly observed on 30 January 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Founders’ Park. Our Principal, Mr Alistair R. A. Freese, was accorded a warm welcome with the VIP call and general salute by the School Brass Band and Pilots.
With grateful hearts, the Principal laid a wreath at Memorial One, while Sub Maj Simon and Hn Nak Sub Vinod laid a wreath at Memorial Two.
Students of the ISC Department reflected on the significance of the day. Japheth read from the Holy Scripture, Neil Manuel offered a prayer for the departed souls, and Syed Adeeb spoke on the sacrifices of Mahatma Gandhi and our freedom fighters and soldiers.
The Principal addressed the gathering, urging students to respect the nation and its elders and to prepare themselves to build a better future. The observance concluded with Amazing Grace by the band, followed by the National Anthem.
