On Saturday, 22nd June 2024, our school hosted the exhilarating Inter-House Volleyball Annual Tournament. The day commenced with an exciting match between Elphick House and Thomas House, where Elphick House emerged victorious.
The first semi-final saw Pakenham Walsh House face off against Pettigrew House. In a closely contested match, Pakenham Walsh House secured their spot in the finals with a score of 25-21. The second semi-final featured Pope House against Elphick House, where Pope House displayed a dominant performance, comfortably advancing to the finals.
In the penultimate match for third place, Pettigrew House and Elphick House engaged in an intense battle. Pettigrew House clinched the third spot with a narrow victory, leaving Elphick House in fourth place.
The final match between Pakenham Walsh House and Pope House was the highlight of the tournament, played in a best-of-three sets format. Pope House demonstrated superior skills, winning the first set 15-12 and the second set 15-11, thus securing the championship title. Pakenham Walsh House put up a commendable fight but ultimately took second place.
The tournament showcased remarkable talent and sportsmanship, making it a memorable event for all participants and spectators.
