The Hindi Diwas celebration was held in the Mini Auditorium with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and staff. The occasion was graced by the School Treasurer, the Vice Principal, and the Chief Guest, Dr. Mythili Rao.
The programme began with a cheerful presentation of Hindi vowels by the Kindergarten children, followed by compering by Daksh A. Singhvi. The Middle School choir rendered the School Song, after which the significance of Hindi Diwas was shared. A Bible reading by Mrs. Roopa and a prayer by Mr. Ganesh Babu preceded the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.
The Junior I children presented a vibrant Vowel Dance, after which Mrs. Bandana Singh welcomed the Chief Guest. Debate winners, Pranav Pirgal and Aryav Mehta, then delivered insightful speeches.
The highlight of the morning was Dr. Mythili Rao’s inspiring address, in which she emphasized the importance of Hindi as a unifying language while also reflecting on the richness of other Indian languages. A lively Dance Drama by Junior II students followed.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony honoured winners of Handwriting, Slogan Writing, Hindi Elocution, and Debate competitions. The Vice Principal, in his address, reiterated the relevance of Hindi Diwas in fostering national unity. Mrs. Sunitha Sharma proposed the Vote of Thanks, after which the programme concluded with the National Anthem.
The celebration was a perfect blend of learning and cultural expression. Heartfelt gratitude goes to the Hindi Department for organising a memorable event.
