On the 20th of January 2024, the Karnataka State Fire Department orchestrated an enlightening demonstration for participants in the weekly Uniformed Service program at our institution. The presentation skillfully elucidated the diverse classifications of fires and imparted the requisite proficiency to effectively extinguish them.
Students were introduced to the myriad classes of fire and how their nuanced characteristics make a towering difference in the way they can be dampened down.
The program invigorated students to actively participate in the fire safety exercise. Further, students were also encouraged to partake in the hands-on experience as they attempted to extinguish fire under supervision.
