‘Cottons emerge winners in the U-13 category’
In the U-13 category, Cottons met Frank Anthony Public School (FAPS). The toss was won by FAPS who chose to field. The spirited batsmen of Cottons came out of the woodwork only to score 34 runs in 6 overs. With complete perseverance, the Cottonians eventually scored 155 runs in 20 overs for a loss of just 3 wickets. It was triumphant!
The second half of the game was characterized with tight fielding as the batsmen from FAPS strived hard to strike with intensity and precision.
‘Gopalan National School won the U-15 category’
In the U-15 category, Bishop Cotton Boy’s School met Gopalan National School. Cottons was able to restrict Gopalan to 120/9 in 20 overs. However, the Gopalan team was defiant in the face of adversity and pulled it back around after a rocky start. In a tight-knit affair, Gopalan National School ultimately took the cake after refusing to give up even under dire circumstances
