There is always excitement when we talk about an outing, be it for a week, weekend or even if it is a day. The planning, preparations and enthusiasm that is shown is unimaginable. Hence, you can imagine the level of energy and excitement our young Cottonians had when it was decided that they would be having a field trip after the pandemic. The very word about the trip to Elms Resort created a frenzy of happiness among our boys.
The Junior II department collaborated with Crazy Holidays and organized an educational field trip to the Elms Resort on Kanakpura road. We had standard 4 scheduled for the 08th February, 2024 and standard 5 for the 09th February. On the day of the trip as the children boarded the buses accompanied by their teachers, it seemed an absolute delight to them. The buses were filled with fun and laughter that lasted for over an hour till we reached our destination.
On reaching the resort, the organizers of Crazy Holidays helped the children to the breakfast counter to energize them for the day. Later, they were split into teams and were indulged in team building activities associated to delegation and direction, communication and coordination, effective use of resources etc, to name a few. However, it was not all about serious activities, our boys surely did get an opportunity to play and have fun in the rain dance and the swimming pool just before lunch.
As our time at the resort drew to a close, the boys were treated with an ice-cream while boarding the buses and we were on our way back to school. A joyous experience that left every student cheerful who surely had good memories to take back home to share with their families.
