As part of the Founder’s Day celebrations, Bishop Cotton Boys’ School, Bengaluru, conducted “Crafty Plates – Happy Hands” for students of Standards I, II and III on 14th August 2026, organised by Junior I.
The activity encouraged students to transform simple paper plates into colourful creations such as sunshine faces, birds, animals, underwater scenes, cartoon characters and nature-themed designs. With great enthusiasm, the children explored colours, textures and decorative materials while adding their own creative ideas.
The activity helped develop their fine motor skills, creativity, imagination, confidence, patience and attention to detail. It also provided a joyful hands-on learning experience and added colour and excitement to the Founder’s Day celebrations.
Overall, “Crafty Plates – Happy Hands” was a delightful and enriching activity that brought out the creativity and imagination of the young Cottonians.
