The Bishop Cotton Boys’ School Under-19 Basketball Team delivered an outstanding performance on Day 2 of the DPS Whitefield Basketball Tournament, emerging as champions after a thrilling 36–33 victory over DEENS Academy ECC in the finals.
Displaying exceptional teamwork, resilience, and determination, the Cottonians held their nerve in a closely contested championship match to secure the tournament title.
Adding to the team’s success, Vihaan H.D. was adjudged the Tournament Best Shooter for his remarkable scoring ability and consistent performances throughout the competition.
In recognition of the team’s exceptional achievement, Mr. James Manuel, Coach of the Bishop Cotton Boys’ School Basketball Team, was honoured with the Tournament Best Coach Award.
The Bishop Cotton Boys’ School fraternity congratulates the players and their coach on this commendable achievement and wishes them continued success in the tournaments ahead.
