A 15-member delegation from Bishop Cotton Boys’ School participated in the prestigious Kumarans Model United Nations (KMUN) hosted by Sri Kumaran Children’s Home – CBSE, Mallasandra, on 17th, 18th, and 19th July 2025.
The event witnessed the participation of over 500 delegates from leading schools across Bengaluru. Our students represented the school with distinction, showcasing exemplary diplomacy, research, and public speaking across a wide range of committees.
Individual Achievements:
- Samarth Hegde – Best Delegate (UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues)
- Ayush Prem – Outstanding Delegate (UN Office on Drugs and Crime)
- Sukrit Sivaprasad – Outstanding Delegate (UN Security Council)
- Talish Sai – Outstanding Delegate (UN Security Council)
- Yashvin Menda – Commendable Delegate (JCC: The Warsaw Vanguard)
- Atharv Sharma – Special Mention (JCC: The NATO Vanguard)
- Tavanesh Kanakaraj – Special Mention (Ad Hoc Committee)
- Syed Adeeb – Special Mention (US Senate)
Other delegates who performed admirably across their respective committees included:
Aarin Kotian, Biyank Reddy, Awikshith Immanuel, Joshua Kevin Peter, Digantha Aradhya M.V., Rohan Joshua Asirvadam, and Chethan Vishnu.
Best Delegation Award
The delegation was honoured with the coveted Best Delegation Award, along with a cash prize of ₹10,000, for their collective excellence.
The team was selected and guided by Mrs. Mercy Stanley, MUN Coordinator, and led by Ayush Prem, Student Coordinator. Training and mentoring were provided by Pranav Jain, Head Delegate.
The delegation extends heartfelt thanks to our Principal, Mr. Alistair R.A. Freese, for his encouragement and support in enabling this outstanding representation.
