The CISCE Karnataka National U-14 Cricket Team recorded an emphatic win against North India in the prestigious tournament held in Haryana. Winning the toss and electing to bowl first, Karnataka displayed disciplined bowling to dismiss North India for just 99 runs in 20 overs.
Chasing the target, Karnataka showcased remarkable composure, reaching 100 for 2 wickets in only 15 overs. A standout performance came from Bishop Cotton Boys’ School’s Milind Akash, who top-scored with a fluent 44 runs in the final. His consistent contributions throughout the tournament earned him the title of Best Player of the Tournament and a coveted selection to represent at the SGFI Nationals.
Adding to the pride of Bishop Cotton Boys’ School, three Cottonians — Kedar, Milind Akash, and Risheek — were part of the Karnataka squad, exemplifying the school’s sporting excellence on the national stage.
The team’s success is a testament to the dedication and guidance of Coach Moin, whose mentorship has been invaluable.
