World Environment Day 2025
Celebrating Sustainability at Cottons
On 5th June 2025, Bishop Cotton Boys’ School came together to mark World Environment Day with a vibrant array of eco-friendly activities that showcased student creativity and commitment to the planet.
The morning began with ‘Eco Revolution’, a delightful fashion show by Junior I and II students featuring innovative outfits made from renewable materials. This was followed by a powerful tribute to Green Legends from around the world, presented by Middle School students.
School Captain Designate, Nitin Joseph, delivered a thought-provoking eco-awareness speech, while Yohan Francis Martin and Nirav Nathaniel performed a moving musical piece titled “A Symphony for Our Planet.”
Our Chief Guest, Mrs. Reena Philips, delivered an inspiring keynote address, encouraging students to become true ‘Green Ambassadors’. In his message, Principal Mr. Alistair R A Freese emphasized the importance of connecting with nature and proposed a bird-watching field trip to inspire deeper environmental appreciation.
The celebrations concluded with a sapling plantation drive, symbolizing our collective responsibility toward a greener future.
