As part of the Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) activity, the students of Grades 10 F and 10 H had the privilege of visiting the old age home, The Little Sisters of the Poor, on 22 November 2025. The visit was not just about sharing and contributing, but about learning, listening, and understanding the deeper values of compassion and empathy.
The programme began with a Bible reading and a short prayer, followed by a brief entertainment session. One of the sisters who helps run the home shared the remarkable history of the institution, highlighting its mission of touching lives with dignity.
The students spent time engaging in meaningful conversations, listening to the residents’ stories from their youth and gaining valuable life lessons.
The SUPW visit truly taught our students that even small acts of kindness can make a profound difference.
The Home’s management expressed their gratitude to our Principal, Mr. Alistair R. A. Freese, the class teachers, Mrs. Elizabeth Angiras and Mrs. Tabassum Ali, as well as the students of Grades 10 F and 10 H.
