Bishop Cotton Boys’ School celebrated Teachers’ Day on 4th September 2025, honouring the unwavering commitment and selfless service of its teachers. The theme for this year’s celebration was “Honouring the Light that Guides.”
The ceremony commenced with the School Song and the Founder’s Hymn, rendered melodiously by the Music Department, setting a solemn and reverent tone.
The cultural programme, compered by Daksh Jain and Ben Gary Leo, unfolded with a series of vibrant and heartfelt performances. Energetic dance presentations by the Kindergarten, Middle School, and Senior School students captivated the audience. A delightful number by Junior I and a lively band performance by Junior II added to the charm of the occasion. The highlight of the programme was a thought-provoking skit by the Grade XI students, which carried a simple yet powerful message of gratitude.
As a token of appreciation, 300 roses were presented to the teachers — a heartfelt gesture reflecting the deep respect and love students hold for their mentors.
The Principal, Mr. Alistair R. A. Freese, in his address, lauded the dedication and passion of the faculty, urging students to imbibe the values imparted to them.
The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, played by the School Band, marking a fitting end to a day filled with respect, gratitude, and joy.
