The Kindergarten of Bishop Cotton Boys’ School presented the inaugural edition of “Nursery Rock – Little Voices, Big Dreams” on the morning of 25th September 2026. An imaginative initiative of the Principal, Dr. Alistair R. A. Freese, the programme was a vibrant celebration of music, movement, colour and creativity.
The programme commenced with a prayer by Rev. E. Immanuel Nehemiah, seeking God’s blessings upon the celebration. The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Rotarian Prof. Elizabeth Cherian, Governor, Rotary Club South, and Mrs. Vinisha Nero, Member of the Board of Management.
The young performers enthralled the audience through lively presentations including Bubble Pop Party, Jungle Jamboree, Rainbow Radiance, Super Squad and The Rockstars, supported by talented musicians and an array of colourful and creative props.
In her address, the Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of parents and teachers in nurturing the children’s confidence, creativity and love for learning. The programme concluded with a spectacular grand finale featuring all the young performers.
The youngest Cottonians, who had been part of the Cottons family for only four months, made their first-ever stage appearance with remarkable confidence, enthusiasm and joy, leaving the audience delighted and inspired.
The successful conduct of the programme was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Kindergarten Coordinators Mrs. Beaula Thavamani and Mrs. Mary Longkumer, along with the entire Kindergarten faculty, whose commitment, teamwork and meticulous preparation ensured a joyful and enriching experience for the young Cottonians.
