The Annual Prize Day for the ISC, Senior, and Middle School sections was held on 5th July 2025, celebrating the outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements of our students over the past academic year.

The ceremony commenced with an Opening Prayer led by Rev. Christy Gnanadasan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Management, with a choral response by the school choir.

Principal Mr. Alistair R. A. Freese warmly welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest, Dr. Soumya Narayanan, an independent learning consultant and pedagogical trainer. A specially curated multimedia Annual Report, presented by the Editorial Board, was screened on the LED display, showcasing the myriad events and accolades earned by the institution in the academic year 2024–2025.

The Chief Guest then presented the Special Awards to students of Grades X and XII from the Class of 2025, recognizing their academic excellence and holistic achievements.

The programme featured vibrant cultural performances, including musical renditions by the ISC and Senior School bands: “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” and “Eye of the Tiger”. A thought-provoking skit titled “Dreams” was performed by the Senior School, while the Middle School students captivated the audience with a graceful choreography carrying the message “Save Our Earth”, followed by a spirited rendition of “Summer of ’69.”

In her address, Dr. Soumya Narayanan emphasized the importance of resilience, encouraging students to “fail, fall, and rise again,” highlighting that courage, commitment, and consistency are the true hallmarks of success.

Members of the teaching and non-teaching staff who completed 25 years of dedicated service were honoured by the Principal for their invaluable contribution to the school community. Students from Grades VI to XII with 100% attendance were also recognised for their exemplary discipline and commitment.

The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by School Captain, Nitin Joseph, followed by the Closing Prayer and Benediction by Rev. Raechel Sudarshan.

The Annual Prize Day was a heartwarming celebration, leaving behind cherished memories for all students, parents, and well-wishers.

On, Straight On!
