The Inter-House Elocution and Inter-Class Choral Recitation for Junior II was held on 21st January 2026, celebrating the power of poetry and expressive speech. The programme commenced with the invocation of God’s blessings through hymns, a scripture reading, and prayer, followed by a warm welcome to the judges and audience.
The esteemed panel of judges—Mrs. Rose Grove (Frank Anthony Public School), Mrs. Jacintha Prince (St. John’s High School), and Mrs. Sheena Margaret Williams (Cathedral High School)—conducted the event with fairness and precision. Students showcased impressive oratory skills through a rich selection of poems, ranging from humorous to thought-provoking, demonstrating confidence, clarity, and creativity.
A special highlight of the event was the introduction of the Inter-Class Choral Recitation for the first time. This initiative saw enthusiastic participation from all classes, offering every child an opportunity to perform collectively and build self-confidence. The choral recitations added vibrancy and unity to the programme.
At the conclusion, Mrs. Rose Grove addressed the students and shared valuable feedback on behalf of the judges.
