IGNITIS’26 - Inter-School Academic Fest

A delegation from Bishop Cotton Boys’ School participated in IGNITIS’26, an Inter-School Academic Fest held at Carmel Academy, Bengaluru. The event provided students with an enriching platform to showcase their academic skills, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities across a variety of challenging events.

The Cottonian team delivered an outstanding performance, securing three first prizes and one second prize, along with a total cash prize of ₹11,000.

The achievements were as follows:

• Quiz – “The Battle of Book Worms”: Vivaan and Sourjo Banerjee of 9G secured First Prize, winning a cash prize of ₹3,000.
• Mystery Bag – “Business Plan”: Jeevaraj and Shiveesh of 11B, along with Rylan of 11D, won First Prize and a cash prize of ₹3,000.
• The Crime Pursuit – “A Mystery Hunt”: Balraj Bosco, Joren Zach and Glenn Harrel of 12B secured Second Prize, winning a cash prize of ₹2,000.
• Vox Digitalis – “The Ultimate Slide Battle”: Challa Monish Krishna of 12D and Mohammed Shoaib of 12B won First Prize and a cash prize of ₹3,000.

The students were guided and supported by Mrs. Sheeba Nancy and Mrs. Sowmya Sahriday of the ISC Cultural Department. The delegation was accompanied by Mrs. Sowmya Sahriday.

The school extends its sincere appreciation to the Senior and Middle School teachers for their timely assistance and encouragement, which contributed significantly to the students’ successful participation.

IGNITIS’26 was a valuable learning experience that enabled the students to demonstrate their knowledge, ingenuity, confidence, and collaborative spirit while bringing laurels to Bishop Cotton Boys’ School.
