Semi-Finals – Category II
The Semi-Finals of the Frank Anthony Memorial All-India Inter-School Debate Competition were held on 25 September 2026 at St. Francis School.
Representing Bishop Cotton Boys’ School in Category II were Chayank Kaushik of Class 9C and Jayden Varghese Alex of Class 10C, who participated with great distinction.
We are particularly proud to share that Chayank Kaushik was adjudged the First Runner-up Speaker, a remarkable recognition of his individual debating ability.
Although the team did not advance to the next stage, both Chayank and Jayden displayed exceptional debating skills, demonstrating clarity of thought, confidence, eloquence, and the ability to present well-reasoned and compelling arguments with precision and conviction. Their thoughtful questions during rebuttals, confident delivery, and spirited participation reflected the high standards of debating nurtured at Bishop Cotton Boys’ School.
We express our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Evelyn Sumana for her dedicated mentorship, guidance, and encouragement, which played an important role in preparing and supporting the students for the competition.
We congratulate Chayank and Jayden on their commendable performance and wish them continued success in all their future endeavours.
