Founder’s Day was celebrated on the 14th of August, 2023. Over the course of 158 years, our institution has maintained its unwavering commitment, with special recognition to Rev. Samuel Thomas Pettigrew, our esteemed founding father. Over 6000 students gathered to celebrate and honor the pioneer of Bishop Cotton Boys School. The program commenced with the bible reading and the prayer. The teachers of Pettigrew House brought in a spiritual atmosphere through the Call to Worship. A sense of patriotism was instilled into the minds of students through a captivating welcome address by our Vice Principal Mr. Anil Dutt.
The chief guest of the day Mr. Kumar Subramanian, former Cottonian belonging to Pettigrew house from the batch of 1975 shared his experience at Cottons advising the younger generation to enjoy little moments and keep themselves motivated and focused.
