The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, set in the Bay of Bengal, are renowned for their historical significance, tropical beauty, and vibrant marine life. To promote experiential learning, the school organized a five-day educational trip for the Class 12 students, accompanied by Mrs Indu and Mr Kariyanna, along with a tour guide. Though few in number—just 19 students—the group’s enthusiasm and unity made the journey truly memorable.

The first day included a visit to the Cellular Jail, where the light and sound show vividly portrayed the struggles of India’s freedom fighters. Later, the group enjoyed the serene beauty of Corbyn’s Cove Beach. The following day featured visits to Ross Island, North Bay Island, and the Fisheries Museum, offering glimpses into the region’s colonial history and rich marine biodiversity.

At Havelock Island, students experienced scuba diving and visited the world-famous Radhanagar Beach, known for its pristine sands and radiant sunset. The final day’s visits to Kalapathar and Elephanta Beaches provided opportunities to appreciate the ecological and tourism potential of the islands.

The trip successfully combined education with recreation, leaving students with unforgettable memories, a deeper appreciation of India’s heritage, and a strong sense of camaraderie.
