The Junior School Department of Bishop Cotton Boys’ School presented “Earth Odyssey – A Journey Through Our Living Planet” on 25th August 2026, offering a captivating celebration of the wonders, diversity and beauty of our planet.
The exhibition was honoured by the presence of Rt. Rev. Vincent Vinod Kumar, Chairman, Karnataka Central Diocese, C.S.I., along with the Principal, Rev. Theodore Williams and Rev. Rachel Sudarshan, esteemed members of the Board of Management.
The inaugural ceremony commenced with praise and worship by the Junior II Choir, followed by the Bible Reading and prayer. The theme was then unveiled by the Bishop, who ceremonially inaugurated the exhibition.
In his address, the Bishop emphasised the importance of protecting and preserving our planet and commended the Junior School Department for its thoughtful and inspiring endeavour.
“Earth Odyssey” took visitors on an enthralling journey across the globe—from the Arctic regions, lush jungles and vast deserts to the Solar System, modern inventions and human ingenuity. The journey culminated in a meaningful pledge to safeguard our planet and cherish its precious resources.
The exhibition was the culmination of months of planning, creativity, collaboration and dedicated effort by the teachers and parents. The imaginative displays, meticulous attention to detail and enthusiastic participation of the parent community transformed the exhibition into an immersive and memorable learning experience.
More than an exhibition, “Earth Odyssey” was a celebration of curiosity, creativity and learning, while inspiring a deeper sense of responsibility towards our shared home—Planet Earth.
The Junior School Department places on record its sincere gratitude to the Bishop, Principal, members of the Board of Management, teachers and parents for their invaluable support and encouragement in making this endeavour a resounding success.
