Ten cadets from the NCC Army Wing of Bishop Cotton Boys’ School had the opportunity to attend an awareness seminar on Tuberculosis (TB) and its eradication at Sophia High School, Bengaluru.
The programme was organised by 1 Naval Karnataka NCC, under the command of Captain Nambiar, with the cadets representing the 9 Karnataka NCC Unit. The seminar focused on creating awareness about tuberculosis, its prevention, early detection and the collective efforts required towards its eradication.
The programme was an enriching experience for the cadets, providing them with valuable knowledge on TB prevention and strengthening their sense of social responsibility towards public health and community welfare.
The Army Wing sincerely acknowledges the guidance, coordination and dedicated efforts of Mr. Wilson Sampath Kumar, First Officer – Army Wing, in facilitating the participation of the cadets in this important awareness programme.
