The Athletics Team of Bishop Cotton Boys’ School delivered an impressive performance at the Summer Athletics Meet held in Bangalore, securing several top honours across age categories.
In the Under-18 category, Ahil Ali clinched the Gold medal in the 800 metres. Dheeraj Lionel D excelled in the Under-16 category, winning Gold in Shot Put and Bronze in the 100 metres.
The Under-14 contingent displayed exceptional talent, with Neevan Gladwin securing Gold medals in Long Jump and Relay, along with a Silver in the 100 metres. The Relay team, comprising Neevan Gladwin, Abhay Kadival, Jorden Mathew, and Arsh Dowlath, achieved a commendable Gold medal finish.
Among the younger athletes, Navaneeth A Y won Bronze in the 80 metres (Under-12), while Kabir Joseph secured Bronze medals in both the 50 metres and 100 metres (Under-8).
These achievements are a testament to the students’ dedication, perseverance, and competitive spirit, guided by the committed efforts of coaches Mr. Devaraj D and Mr. Shivakumar K.
