Traditions hold a special place at Cottons, and the Annual Staff Retreat is one of the most anticipated events, marking the beginning of a new academic year. This year, the teaching and administrative staff enjoyed a splendid two-day retreat on the 30th and 31st of May at the expansive Golden Palms Resort on Tumkur Road. It provided a perfect setting for relaxation, reflection on past lessons, and celebration of the previous year’s achievements.
The retreat commenced with a briefing by the Principal, who outlined the academic calendar for AY 2024-25 and shared his expectations from each team member. This session set a focused tone for the upcoming year, emphasizing the importance of dedication and teamwork.
After the formal proceedings, the atmosphere shifted to one of camaraderie and joy. The staff engaged in various activities designed to foster fellowship and build stronger bonds. The evening was filled with laughter, music, and celebrations, creating a jovial and relaxed ambiance. It was heartwarming to see the Principal, known for his strict and disciplined approach, effortlessly blend into the informal setting, sharing light moments with the staff.
The retreat was not just about relaxation; it was a time for introspection and strategic planning for the future. The serene environment of the Golden Palms Resort offered an ideal backdrop for the staff to recharge and prepare mentally for the challenges and opportunities of the new academic year.
