Opting to bat first after winning the toss in the day-night encounter, Bishop Cotton made 133/6 in their alloted quota of 20 overs. The total wasn’t a huge one and St Joseph’s made a serious bid to go for the runs. However, they lost wickets at regular intervals and only Dev Dutt BP, who made a significant conribution of 66 runs, occupied the crease for any length of time. Still, they came close to overhauling the target, falling short narrowly in the end, leaving Cottons victors.
